Windows Live Essentials not included in Linux!! Why even mention this?

Reasons why a case of Pepsi is better than a case of Coke:
Contains Pepsi: Pepsi-> !Yes! Coke-> x No x!
I would assume that this platform would not support GPGPU or OpenCL. IMO, I don't see Intel supporting a technology that would diminish the relevance of their mainstay products.
I'm not too worried about the robot apocalypse anytime soon. To become more and more advanced, these robots are all using tricks to just mimic the human brain. Eventually, the latest and greatest super-bots will be just as susceptible to errors and confusion and humans. And then we will finally realize... Robots feel love too.
Don't know about this MCE stuff... But the ps3 has more than just Bluray. It seems pretty capable of playing almost any upnp media server. I use my ps3 exclusively now with pms, mediatomb, playon, and azureus. It all runs pretty good, but native netflix would be much appreciated, with at goto feature!! Although $200 for an 360 vs $400 for a ps3..... (weighs open palms)
@NHAnimator:

This would most definitely NOT please the Washington tree-huggers... Are you sitting in the dark in your house? constructed by materials of mass production? Or perhaps you are outside in the wilderness, where just your presence has the effect to affect the usual mating habits of those creatures around you, thus creating an unnatural man-made wilderness. Basic rule of thumb... Washington tree-huggers can never be pleased.

And yea, I used effect and affect in the same sentence. What, want to fight about it?
Completely agree! Why do people (uninformed consumers) think that these Atom chips are going to break the barriers of economics and physics? An $18 cpu that draws 2 watts max is not going to be the right solution for converting your dvd collection to ipod videos! Its a case of the right tool for the right job...
This sounds like it *could* be a good idea. For me, this would be great. A low powered chipset lacking the glitz and glamor of the ION and the power sucking characteristics of the GMA950 would make for a good netbook. Although it depends on how good a x2 Neo would be.

It will also sell miserably in netbooks since it would use "not an Intel Atom" CPU. So consumers wouldn't know what the hell is happening here. Plus they would see the ion netbook sitting next to this one and think, (in dumb, offy consumer monologue) "Ion? More is always Better!"
God Damnit, America! Can't we, as a society, just accept the fact that there is a possibility of dying in almost any circumstance. Instead of spending money to help protect our shitty, structured, insulated and "cultured" lives, maybe we should be thinking more about just living life.
Because some companies subscribe to this awful conspiracy of actually trying to make money
Linux is getting kinda old... Bring back the Windoze!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
