my disc priest healed the Ignis fight last night, usually a straightforward tank and spank for the most part. well, let's just say it took two wipes before i got used to a 10 second Penance. it really really makes a big difference when MT healing. it's not class breaking or anything but i'm just not buying the reasoning behind it.

honestly, i think PVP is ruining this game...
i'm not sure letting players start any toon at 55 is a good idea. for one, it takes a little time to learn the class. two, you'd instantly render the old world Azeroth even more obsolete and empty than it already is.

instead, increase exp from all quests, increase exp gained from mob killing, say 20% more than it is currently.

more importantly, make MOUNTS AVAILABLE AT LEVEL TEN!!!!! through some easy quest line that starts in a major city. pretty damn easy to implement and wouldn't kill the game. also, eliminate cast time for all mounts or at least shorten it from 3 seconds to 1 second. why it takes so damn long to summon your mount is kinda frustrating. i loved it when they had the instant cast broomstick last year until they nerfed it bc of battleground cheating.

i would love have the ability to see what another player is seeing (with their permission of course) when they raid, be able to see the spells they use, etc. some kind of "spectator" mode... that would probably be pretty easy to code i would imagine.
nice little ap. wish it showed gear somehow, but for what it does do, it does do well.
i'd have to say the skettis bombing run. it's fun to bomb the eggs, but those orange vulture birds aggroing are a real pain. one upside is there's usually an adamantite node up there XD

i played a priest to 60 when WoW first came out, got a few of the set pieces, then quit in frstration at the time requirements. this was back when priest were practically the only viable healing class, so once i was in a group, i was really stuck no matter what. also i was sick of the PM invites the second i logged on just to check my mail. did a announce in IF once day and gave away all my gold to the first 10 lowbies that replied.

i couldn't believe how much time quitting WoW freed up in my life. went out on dates, read a ton of books, met a girl, fell in love, got married, moved into my first house.

two years later, i had the itching to play it again. i wanted to see the new gear, instances , etc of TBC. so now i've got a level 57 mage, and for the most part, i'm having fun. i'm in a smallish guild and no one pressures me to commit 3 hours of my life (which i don't have most nights, now that i'm married).

i think Blizzard is truly doing the best they can. when u think about it, of course they can't satisfy the hard core "in Mom's basement" power guys AND the "only play a couple hours a week" people. but really, there's something for everyone.

i don't blame people for quitting. if you hit a wall, you hit a wall, you don't have to convince yourself to stay! go out, have relationships w/ real people, learn how to socialize IRL, etc etc. and for god's sake, try not to be jealous of the guy with all purple uber gear. just remember how many hours he toiled to get that and ask yourself is he really any happier than you?
got from the wifey (actually, the wife let me buy it, but that's pretty much a Christmas present, right?) :

20 inch aluminum iMac and a copy of World of Warcrack and Burning Crusade. i've already got bootcamp on the bad boy! yeah!

wow, that's a bummer that you can't change background in each of the spaces. kinda makes sense that you should be able to.
not sure why some folks are so down on the wifi store. i played with it last night and its pretty great! i purchased a couple of songs that were running in my head at the moment and it was pretty neat to be able to do that wirelessly without a computer.

frankly i think apple customers are acting like spoiled brats that want EVERYTHING and a bag of chips. they want an iphone that's cheap, but not reduced in price; one not locked to a network, but stable and updatable; one that they can hack but still be covered under warrenty. i mean, WTF, it's an incredible device! i'm no apple apologist, but this new round of "bashing" comes across as a bunch of whining from people who want their cake and eat it too.
thanks, jeff, awesome site bro!

yeah, they disgust me too! they should be GIVING away all of their products! it's not like it took any time or effort to make any of their iPods, games, software!

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
