Okay so I've read about 20 comments where people are saying there are no good movies available for streaming. Broaden your horizons a little people, there's some amazing films on there:

-Once Upon A Time in America
-Network
-Adventures of Robin Hood
-Goodfellas
-Maltese Falcon
-Paths of Glory
-Bridge on River Kwai
-Strangers on a Train
-Barry Lyndon
-To Kill a Mockingbird
-Psycho
-Professional
-Breathless
-Cool Hand Luke
-Gandhi
-2001: A Space Odyssey
-A Clockwork Orange
-Full Metal Jacket
-THX 1138
-Silence of the Lambs
-Manhattan
-No Country for Old Men
-Ratatouille

And many more. If you are a fan of cinema, there is a lot to like on Netflix's streaming service. Of course it could be better, but I'd say it's very good now, and will only get better in the future.
This is for home users. What are the odds the HD in their Mac AND the HD in the Time Capsule will fail both at the same time?
Here's a really interesting article about using this same technology on people suffering from severe depression who don't respond to meds:

Convergence of a phone and my iPod into one device.
Um, aren't ringtones from other carriers $2? So how is $0.99 steep?
IPHONE IS GONNA DESTROY THE COMPETITION. TOO BAD M$ FANBOYZZZZZ.
"Monopoly? Come on.

The price will still be set to what the market will bear. Monopolies are more commonly related to products you must buy, like oil, energy, operating systems. You are not forced to buy sat radio.

If you aren't willing to pay $20/month, and say most people are like you, they won't be able to charge that because people can do without their service. There are alternatives like CDs, DAPs, or regular radio. Those are the competition to their service."

This is exactly right. End of discussion.
"What does google or youtube have to do with gadgets?"

Apple's iTV (to be released in January) was announced to have Google Video integration. Apple's iTV is considered a "gadget."

Plus, I always took it that engadget was a general technology blog. Not just specifically gadgets.
Did I miss it, or are you guys not covering the Google/You Tube deal?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
