Part of the Warner Bros. acceptance of Blu-ray was the BD-9 version of Blu-ray, essentially what you just mentionned, but for Blu-ray, it's thus a moot point.
@28 Well you can use MPEG4 on the PSP as it is.
@29 The official specs have support for SACD, it even has the logo on the machine itself.
Just to make sure that people look at the video, the picture on engadget isn't the PS3 interface. The real one is really cool.
Actually for you, for the VAIO pocket there's the transfer utiliy that does just that: transfer the files by drag and drop, no need to use SonicStage at all...
Sure, SonicStage used to suck in version 1.5, but come on, it's up to version 4 now. I find it actually much better than most software. It really works exactly as I want to and transfer is a breeze.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
