@(Unverified) Smaller means cheaper to mass-produce, but the R&D and building a new fab cost a lot of money. Eventually, it will be cheaper, but it might not be right off the bat.
Oh good, another 4GB PMP! Are people actually buying these so much more than large-capacity PMPs that there's a need to keep pumping them out, but never release a competitor to the iPod Classic?

Agreed that $400 is too much to get me to buy an E72 to replace my E71. If I didn't have an E71 already, though, the E72 would be much nicer. The 3.5mm jack and better camera would be very nice things to have.

Yep, the Asus 1201N makes this look like a chump.

That's what every HTPC user wants. Unfortunately, that is the opposite of what TiVo and the cable companies want, and they have the money to get their way most of the time.
I thought GTA4 was fun, but it felt like a step backward from San Andreas. The game world had less variety, there were no bicycles, no jetpacks, no planes, no player stats, etc. I like the idea of making GTA a platform for DLC, but I'm disappointed that they've left the PS3 community out in the cold.

Personally, I've found the BB user experience to be more responsive and more predictable than WinMo. It really comes down to taste a lot of the time. I would never buy a Windows Mobile phone, because every one I've used has irritated me to no end. BlackBerry isn't perfect, but I'd consider a BB phone for myself before WinMo. Lots of people feel the opposite way, so this may be right up some alleys.
This seems like a good thing for the Nokia fans. I think Nokia's figuring out that with the million-and-one things the newer OS'es can do, the need for diversity in hardware is moving into the background a little. With the E71/E72 and N900, Nokia's shown how good their smart phones can be, let's just hope the 10 models they drop next year are in the N97 vein.

Not sure. Ask Ralph Nader.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
