And yet where is your 100/100mb connection with unlimited cap for $30/month? Why do entire countries offer this and NY city can't? I know why. All the billions sunk into infrastructure upgrades instead not-so-mysteriously ends up lining peoples pockets.
Canada and the U.S. have been going backwards in highspeed availability. Canadians are about to be super screwed next month when Bell forces a 60GB cap on all DSL providers.
Sony has a Canada ebook store and the PRS models are now sold at most major retailers and computer stores instead of just the Sony Store.
iPhones are now open to all carriers (both of them!) and at least you didn't have to buy the phone 3 times to get one that has everything the first should have.
