I have a DirecTV R10 and don't have any problems, but I have not hooked the unit to the phone line in two months.

Where could I get myself an Academic version? (i'm a student)
Do upgrades work the same as before? You just have to prove that you have a previous version, pop the CD when asked and done?

This is sad.. I seen James on CNET and I think he was also on TechTV and ZDTV back in the day.

I'm gonna pass it up and stay with my Treo 650. When Palm comes out with another one with a higher resolution camera and has more of the features like the European Vodaphone; then i'll upgrade.

That's the same company that does the wireless at my school campus Adelphi U. But coverage is only about 70%

"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
