Mel,
Ok - it's not a review.

However, my point is still valid - you've filled the post with lots of info except, frankly, the most important and relevant tidbit - how does it work? VoIP? Call back? Without having downloaded the app I can tell you there is extra steps required to make a call from your contact list - namely launching the app itself.

You're presenting the info in an authoritative way instead of saying "From the marketing blurb...".

I know there's a rush to post stories and I don't think anyone reading this was expecting a full review - but at least download and run the app. If not, just say "Hey, it's released - check it out and let us know what you think!".

Ummm, how about explaining how the app works Mel?
Again, I agree with Joanna D.

The latest round of bloggers here definitely has a bit of an attitude (unjustifiably IMO) - it seems they're trying to live up to the smug Apple 'holier than thou' stereotype. You'd think this site was run by Jobs himself...

This site has definitely gotten less fun over the past year.
Nice.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
