Obviously they knew what an IP is. An Internet Protocol :P
I think the reason the games aren't called "Wii" is for trademark reasons and only Ninty can use the name.

Kinda like with the Android (Cellphone) market forbids apps being called 'Android' or 'Droid'
Same here David!
We've had Starcraft LAN Parties for the past 3 years. Most of the time we have Internet connection, but sometimes the host's Internet is down, and sometimes you just want to LAN at an internetess ranch at midnight.
If that means I'll have to pirate to LAN, so be it.
Hey JC.
I never left. I haven't missed a single article(Thanks to Google Reader) from Nintendo Fanboy and stuff. I simply stopped posting, I guess.

Feels good to be back.
Feels like it's been ages since I last posted a comment.. .

Re: Pokemon MMO.
www.pokeglobal.org.

We're working on an MMO. Pokenet's gonna be released soonish. Hope to see ya there!
it beats typing in your credit card numbers on Xbox/Wii ware and having a bunch of useless points waiting for a good game to arrive.
I got kicked less than a minute in, on my first "quick gameplay" match :(
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
