"though the bottom-mounted ball is obviously replaced with what appears to be an intensely large home button"
Only problem being, the home button is next to it. (On the left in this picture)
So I assume it's a 5-way d-pad...
I'm still waiting for something like this powered by Snapdragon.
Please?
@Island
Who?
Me?

But seriously, I'd consider buying this if it were about 200-300 euros, and I'd definitely buy it if it were 150. It looks extremely good if you ask me.
@Craneguy
Yes, that would be great.
Pretty please?

Oh, and my system hasn't been infected by this yet, but at least Microsoft acknowledges the problem right away.
"Boasting a 3.2-inch external touchscreen with 16M color"
Wait, WHAT?! If this is true, I must know how they did it!
(You know, because WinMo usually only supports up to 65K)
That Mindflex thing, I remember buying something extremely similair for my cousin once, the only difference being you couldn't control it with your mind...

Make it a semi-smartphone like the N900 and you can count me in!
Yes, awesome.

And how about some of that Marvel vs. Capcom 2, eh?
Or Jet Set Radio?
Make it cheaper and improve the build quality, it's that simple.

Sure, you can give it all sorts of great stuff, the Snapdragon platform, 32GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3" screen and whatnot.
But it'd be a completely different phone.
Yes, I'm still amazed by how you people consider the subsidised price the real price for the phone, and compare them as such.
Here in the Netherlands, you can get any phone for free on contract, the price of the handset depends on how expensive your contract is, so people start comparing the prices of the contracts for their full period.

An example: I got my HTC HD2 for 206 euros on a 1 year, 35 euros a month contract.
Now, I found this a much better choice than it for free on a two year 30 euros a month contract, mainly because I don't like to be stuck with the same carrier/phone for such a long period of time, but also because cost-wise, it was a lot better.
(By the way, this phone wasn't sim-locked in any way, so even though I got it on contract with one carrier, I could still switch to another, even during the period my current contract lasts.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
