Apple to introduce OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" at WWDC? {Engadget}
Jun 4th 2008 7:48PM If they're not going to be launching any big user features on this one I don't see how they can charge what they usually do.
I love Leopard and think it was totally worth the $129 but if they're going to release 'Snow Leopard' which will just tighten things up and break compatibility, its not something I'll be willing to pay for.
US files complaint with WTO over EU tariffs on high-tech products {Engadget}
May 28th 2008 7:40PM This is possibly the most hilarious comment I've ever read.
What with its hands full with the alleged 'war on terror' included in that the mess that is Iraq and the close to failed state Afghanistan the best thing that American could possibly do would fight a war against Europe.
I sincerely hope you were being sarcastic, nothing like advocating World War Three between the most powerful country in the world and all of the European Union.
Hilarious.

May 5th 2008 9:06PM Despite the fact its impossible, yada yada yada, how funny would it be if he was right?
Would it appeal to no-one else's sense of humour or irony if he actually managed to make a free energy machine?

Xbox Live "up and running," flush with irony {Engadget}
Dec 29th 2007 8:38PM RK has understood what I was saying much better than you have PeterF. Xbox live is providing you with a service, and considering the amount of trouble they've been having over the past few days I think those paying for the service have a right to be pissed off. Its the christmas vacation, I'm pretty sure a lot of people have bought new subscriptions as christmas gifts.
As the only paid gaming service, you should get what you pay for, a working service, and the amount of time you have lost due to server problems added on to the end of your subscription. If you've paid for 6 months Xbox live, and its broken for 2 weeks, you haven't had the 6 months you paid for, you should get reimbursed for the time lost.
