Before these retail outlets by Microsoft become a total failure, they will continue to throw money at them until it becomes pointless. At that time, they will close all the stores and blame the economy or some sort of other scape goat.

Again - MS has learned NOTHING of past companies and their misgivings. They are the most financial wasteful company I have ever seen.

I can't wait for Windows 7 though. It's a great OS and will be a welcome upgrade to my aging XP.
Verizon could come out with 100G speed and it would make no difference. The phones STILL SUCK, along with the customer service but hey - thanks for trying. :)
The bed itself, is a masterpiece. It's made by Hästens, hence the reason there are no sheets on it. How would anyone know it was a Hästens bed if there were sheets on it? It makes sense that B & O would have that in their ad as well.

They are the most luxurious beds made.
Nancy has an iPhone on weeds. You could see her talking on it while she was leaving a message for Andy. This is a few minutes after Andy turns around to pick up his G1 and look at the screen to see Nancy calling. That phone (the G1) is Andy's. There have also been numerous iPhone sightings in Weeds as well.

TrueBlood also has a mix of both. There have been several iPhones shown on the show along with the G1. The G1 Eric has is the first time seen. Seems everyone on the show has a Motorola Razr it seems.
I think he did the article just to win brownie points for all the "Apple" haters on here. That or he wanted to win over some more hearts. Either way, same thing. Sounds pretty stupid to me.

Problem is - you get people that say it's a PHONE first. Then you have people who say it's a SMART PHONE. Then you have some people that say it's a MINI computer. You all need to decide what the hell it is. Personally, it's a phone - a smart one. It has the makings of a mini computer, but it's not that far advanced yet - as you can see. So don't expect it to replace your netbook, notebook, laptop, desktop, nettop or whatever else you have.

Anyways - what a great suck up article. Go rank me down now.
Since when does Comcast have FiOS ? What am I missing with that comment? Verizon is FIOS - all fiber optic connection. Comcast is still using decades old copper. Help me out here guy.
@v3xx

I guess you never had a Verizon smart phone right? You are REQUIRED to have the data plan. JUST LIKE AT&T. We had 2 BB Storms with Verizon - data plan could not be dropped. Any smart phone requires a data plan. So, you might want to stop using that as an excuse. Good try though.
This is the best post here. Perfect! + for you.
Do you even know what a Monopoly is? It's when you have NO CHOICE, NO OPTIONS. Last time I checked, there were a gazillion other phones and a gazillion other media manager applications. NOT JUST iTunes, iPhone/iTouch. Perhaps I have read all the information wrong through the years, but again - YOU HAVE A CHOICE. There is no monopoly here.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
