"It should also be noted that this will be the first report to contain information on sales of the iPhone 3G, assuming they do go on sale on July 11th without a glitch."

The report is for Q308 which ends June 30.
To explain a little further. 26.34% out of 100 one week can be larger than 40% out of 100 in another week.

Since we don't know how much I Am Legend sold we can't say if sales are getting lower or higher - just as 78:22 (BD/HD DVD) doesn't necessarily mean lower BD sales than 84:16.
Where do you see that the sales are lower?
Universal Music Group and NBC Universal are two differernt companies. UMG is even in the Blu-ray camp.
I thought that HD DVD was ready from the beginning ;)
"We're also told that this secondary release is happening quite a bit sooner than it did at last year's WWDC, so I guess this might be a win for developers, all things considered."

Since they haven't said when the beta is released as a download, you can't really say that it's happening sooner than last year.
"It's called Wake-On-Lan."

Except you're not on the LAN.
#6 Both Blu-ray and HD DVD support MPEG-4 (h.264), MPEG-2 and VC-1
"HD-DVD players currently have no region coding so the US Planet Earth disc can be bought say for playback in Europe for example, whereas the Blu-ray version and players are region coded therefore the Blu-Ray version is US only. "

The Blu-ray version of Planet Earth is not region coded - just as any other Warner title (and Paramount titles + many catalog titles from Sony, Disney, Lionsgate).
"Basically the number HMM was using was based on yearly totals for each month, not the total releases for that month."

And they were global accumulated numbers from 2006.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
