I didn't realize c'est la vie was spelled like that. I felt really American as I mentally pronounced it as SEST LA VEE and had to do a mental double take.
Take note: they measured it with Fraps. Every time I've tried running Fraps, even on my high spec'd gaming rig, there's been a pretty noticeable performance hit (unless there's been changes to Fraps that improve that). I'd expect to see games running a couple frames higher than their estimates.
Careful not to accidentally the console.
That's a really good note, but I can sort of understand why it's not in there. It doesn't look like it has wifi. I know for my uses, I'll be able to wire it, but that's probably not the case for most people.
At least it's not an original Xbox controller. That's like trying to shove a full Dreamcast in your pants.
For those who use Zuse to log their Zune plays to last FM, the last version still works with the new player.
Neato.
Almost all of Fujitsu's tablets come in at about the $2000 mark. This will probably be the same.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
