Seems a hell of a lot slower than Everything
'ready for public consumption' ...lol, you've totally missed the point of XP mode, it's not meant for the general public, it's meant for specific bespoke applications in the business world that aren't compatible with Vista/W7.

To suggest it's useful for old games is ridiculous, considering it has limited directx support at best.
Apple is one big virus, so it's rather apt imo.
I'd of thought you could just use Windows Update (which is no longer browser based) and just grab IE8, or has been removed too from the E version?
Math FAIL!

50mbit = ~6MB/sec
PATA is still no slower than SATA in real life situations, the current incarnation of PATA makes out at 133MB/sec, far faster than any 2.5" traditional HD, which max out around 100MB/sec. of course with SSD, PATA could be cause a bottleneck.
You're confusing Java with Javascript
I wonder if it's possible to force no underline, with the bookmarklets, I'm sure it is, may try to do it tomorrow...

It's a pity Chrome doesn't support this feature yet, or support user stylesheets which would allow you to achieve it.
I too was disappointed that ImgBurn wasn't mentioned.
duh, i mean most LOSSY codecs can achieve it.

FLAC is great and all that, but isn't better than an mp3 encoded for transparency in terms of sound quality.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
