does Japan ever want foreign brands? jw
even if that telecom/tmobile have a trademark on their notorious magenta color. They cant just trademark all PINK or MAGENTA. They can only trademark their specific color of Magenta that they use. Otherwise they would have surely sued Motorola with those Fusia Razr's that are offered to other carriers than just Telecom/Tmobile.
DVD drives used to cost around that when they were first introduced into the market so whats the big deal? Its a new technology wait a year and prices will drop and write speeds will increase.
i mean i know that Hollywood's Lawyers wrote the DMCA, but dont we think it might be time to go back and have an impartial council with tech knowledge to go back and really break this thing down to explain it to the politicians. Then show them how it is completely unfair to consumers and try to corret this archaic law thats really needs to catch up to the present day. Ive stopped purchasing movies because of these greedy pr!cks. Ill buy my music and read good books, they are often better than the screen adaptation anyways. fu©k H0llyw00d.
yeah i typed Hense... not hence... sorry
"I am not a big fan of the 3 x 3 plan, but if you have the subscription package on marketplace, its not a big deal at all since all songs are free (just your $15 fee per month)"

Well if you are paying a fee in order to download the songs then they aren't free. Hense, the concept of you paying money and then being allowed to download. I get free movie rentals (i just have to pay the rental fee).

I love to have drive failures.. nothings more fun then
having to reformat a drive and re-transfer my 25 GB of music when i choose to attach those new magnetic speakes.

@ Morty
Secondly, i dont want to hear the music you are listening to. So plug your headphones/earbuds in and get over the urge to force others to listen to your music.
give me a break.. PS3s BluRay drive is gonna be a piece of crap BluRay drive just like how PS2s DVD drive was a pice of crap DVD drive. So with that $600 for youf PS3 youll now be forced into having to support Sony's BluRay format, which after seeing its quality first hand with the BD-P1000 with Samsungs brand new HDTV and it looked like sh*t. I was actually hoping Sony wasnt all talk and bringing something to the table with the BluRay format, but they havent and its gonna be the same way with the PS3. Save the $200 dollars with a 360 and put that saved money towards a quality standalone High Def Component. And if someone was wanting to support BluRay and they buy a PS3 then they get a crappy BluRay player and then have to drop a heinous amount of money on a quality BluRay Player ontop of it all.
lets please not forget that the PS2 right now is selling for $129.99 versus the 360 core system at $299.99 or the premium at $399.99. So no matter how much the PS2 is selling this is comparing apples and oranges. The 360 console should be compared to sales of the other consoles that are their equivalents (once they come out). Many parents are hesitant to drop 300 or even 400 dollars on a machine that solely, in their eyes, is for playing video games. Compare sales of ps2 and the sales of Xbox. I have a feeling alot of consumers are waiting to see what actually becomes of the Wii and the PS3 before they choose to drop 300-400-or even 500 dollars on a gamming console. Its getting too expensive to be able to make a bad choice in which console one wants to support. I definately am looking to buy a console, but im sure and h3ll waiting for the dust to settle before i drop a few hundred dollars and end up getting burned.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
