I 'd like to be able to create folders and fill those with the apps of my choosing as can be done with jailbroken phones and/or scroll up and down on a page as could be done in the old days of springboard. With side and up/down scrolling I could better organise genre of apps on single pages.
Homesharing is a nice idea but until iTunes 9 actually becomes stable it is a waste of time. Every time I try and copy anything on any of my Macs I get a few songs through the list before iTunes crashes on one of the machines. Apple needs to update iTunes9 pronto.
Palm are just delaying long enough until a 3rd party comes up with a decent alternative or interface between iTunes and the pre.
Given how poor the iPhone GPS chip is I'm not sure I'd want to take the risk shelling out for this.
if this happens and you are hung at boot screen simply hook up to iTunes and do a sync removing a few apps. It worked for me. Phone back to life without a restore.
Anyone bored of waiting for backups simply click the cross icon and it will cancel the backup procedure.
MobileMe is up and down like a whores' drawers for me.
