hmmmm why not. whats the worst thing that can happen.......?
my friend you just uncovered the secret to success for many *many* companies in the world.. IMO its fair enough what they re doing. supplying the world with cheap stuff, why shouldnt they want a bigger piece of the cake?.business is war.. you wont succeed being nice!
wow these guys never cease to amaze... truly impressive gadget. I agree what someone pointed out earlier in post, its strange how Cowon isnt more famous than they are looking at their product portfolio. Once again goes to show how much marketing can do to sell even inferior products (ie.apple) Wishing them all success and hope they wont stop in creating the markets best players
hahahahahahah u just made my day Josh :))
Ha Eric made it to engadget!! :) Believe it or not guys this guy is a friend of a friend of mine and this is his exam project on Beckmans school of design in Stockholm. I have seen the map in real life and it had all the route coordinates printed on the backside I didnt really believe it myself, but except for the sea points, all the rest are valid cities or places. I also got some inside info that it was uncertain into the last moment whether or not DHL would let him do this thing. So anyway I hope he gets the credit he deserves.
Blablablahblah.... yeah we know the drill :)
' 60GHz wireless chip promises 5Gbps of throughput, instant tumors ' LOOOLL :))
Simply put beautiful! Albeit inspired by fellow countrymen Bang&Olufsen, these guys once again prove why Danish design has a meaning n not just a name. The dark glass that covers the front with the clean black rim breathes simplicity and elegance. Wonder how many months till we see the copycats ripping of this masterpiece..

As someone already said this is old news. AFAIK this is exactly what is knows as bullet time photography, but pointed at one direction rather than surrounding the object.
However what I dont understand is how they shift focus in postprod without getting perspective distorsion? Surely this is only a prototype, but still seems to me the functionality will be very restricted.
Some time ago something much cooler was achieved from a group of students at some uni (think I read it in engadget) they made this crazy cam (just one lens) where focus was not determined at time of exposure, but could be set at any point in postprod! they even showed examples of it in work.
hahaha I just got my first sign online :) I bought that camera 2 hours ago! like someone trying to tell me I made a good choice hehe.. gotto add that the LCD is not only large but very crisp and bright HOWEVER I would not say no to a VF, how small and uncomfortable it may be still good to have on lo batt.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
