Swype on my HD2 is excellent, it takes a little getting used to but I love it.
Do want....

No indication as to if it has the FM transmitter in though, all UMPC's should have this IMO

Mrs Dog, whatever her name is in 3D??

BLETCH
Do want....the video makes it seem so bletch though.....

Throw TouchWiz in the bin and get SPB mobile shell, finger keyboard and gyrator2 and you will be away on that gorgeous screen.

I heard the battery life is very good also.
I wish that Intel would make Atom boards that are compatible with this and nVidia would make tegra boards that are compatible with this...etc....

We could finally get to a place where notebooks are easily upgradeable.

Pretty decent review, but it could have been better. Did you put any apps on the device? I would like to see a video of something like Asphalt4 (or some playstation games) shown on the device, to judge the performance.

How does the HTC UI compare to SPB Mobile shell? I will be picking up this device next week and have to decide which UI to use on it.

How well does the media player play different video files? Can it manage high def content (I am too lazy to re-encode)?

I guess I will find out for myself soon enough.

Fingerkeyboard FTW As for you Android trolls FOAD
Much better, but toooo long. Maybe have one event and break it up into two shows? I have a short attention span...

I am interested in what you write, but maybe less so in watching you sit around and chat for 20 minutes.

Also, get more hot chicks for us to gawp at....

@pedro What the hell, someone already stole Pedro....

This should not be allowed...LOL
LOL I have to do work to be verified?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
