(More seriously, well done T-Mobile, shame they aren't trying to offer it to everyone "sim-free" if you just happen to pick up a sim in the store while you're there who's to know style.)
You know how they say about bias..

I think picking a comparison of "all the new things the 3GS has that are pretty much insignificant", e.g. a compass and magic coating, might give them some ammunition.

A list of "normal phone features" would show that the only major differences are in speed and camera. The rest is just gimmicks. Otherwise let's compare things like "is it called iphone", "does it have a little bit of silver around the mike to look cool", "does it have a google logo"...

ad nauseam.
This sort of thing has been going on for.. decades if not longer?
Try:

"Something with which to listen to one's Pantera records."
Not only the mod not exactly a mod.. but it has to be said the "13.3"" laptop actually has a 14.1" screen. Although with very little bezel, so in terms of footprint it's barely more than say, a dell m1330.
And..what appears to be android?

(On the link from the red iphone article. Which really ought to be THIS article, but y'know, two pointless apple posts are one more than one.)
In the uk, the simlock is illegal - shame that the system means they can charge an "admin fee" and you have to ask them to unlock it. So noone does.
Hear hear..

Other than that evolution has been winning for millions of years.
But, of course, you can get graphics that are loud and noisy, and tend to get more than a little drunk at social gatherings?

I think you might have been looking for "discrete", Paul.
More importantly, when did diameter become an acceptable reference to any dimension of a rectangular object (alright, fine it's technically cuboid. Perhaps even with rounded edges, this one, oh noes call the apple police shut up clak shut up everyone else..).

Unless i'm missing the circular/spherical antenna hidden in the EEE somewhere?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
