Too bad there's not a college football game for the wii.... :(
Folks have been sending me links all afternoon with other Spirit Airlines horror stories. Consumerist ran a post a week or two ago about someone even taking them to small claims court and winning!

I've flown a ton over the last few years, and have had similar things happen. It's a sad state of affairs when we just grow to be complacent and accept this kind of thing. Most companies though, will offer a meal voucher or an upgrade, or even a warm smile.

Spirit's refusing to even waive the $5 baggage fee. The fact that they have a baggage fee to begin with is a whole other rant ;)

I'll update the post as my travels progress.. I'm going to try again when I get to the airport in the morning.
I heard the other day the official video is classified, this is just some dude with a handycam.. Save your conspiracy theories for the UFO fanatics meeting, Saddam is dead as a door nail.

I'm never a big fan of capitol punishment myself, but be honest.. It's hard to shed a tear for someone responsible for the death of hundreds, if not thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.
The iPod itself was designed by a smaller, more indie company and bought out by Apple.

Tivo might be another example, though a public company now, they were once a small, more indie level company.

I think you and Pete should market a Block-like mp3 playing hat.
Worked for me.
Great podcast jason(/brian)! And CastFire is the jam.
Yaris gets 36/40 or something nuts like that. It isn't a hybrid, but much better gas mileage than most.

The prius is still the jam though
Thats not a bad thought Adam, I'll run it by the team.

And to be fair, two of our guys (Tom and Andy) worked their ass off over a weekend to get this in -- I respectfully pass credit along to them ;)

Thanks for the shout j, we'll get alerts in soon!
To give credit where it's due, it started with a user suggestion (Stephan Nedregaard), and was carried through by Tom and Andy this weekend. :) Good stuff guys, and thanks Stephan!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
