Apr 7th 2008 7:34AM The problem with moving all those manufacturing jobs to China and support to India is you no longer have those medium paying jobs for low end workers. They are now working at Wal-Mart or Best Buy for a lower wage. Dell is going to cut American workers and replace them with workers from India and China. If Dell thought that moving jobs would hurt sales it wouldn’t do it. Most Americans are too motivated by the lowest price to think about how it effects there neighbors.

Jan 18th 2008 7:03AM HDDVD can still win if the drop the players to like $50 and have the studios that are still with them do combo DVD/HDDVD disks. Throw in a ton of advertising and they would have a huge jump in market share. They would lose a boat load of cash but that is probably there only chance to win.

Apr 27th 2007 8:17AM They have ruined the thinkpad brand by cutting all the corners they can to make a product that is a mere glimmer of the old IBM models. There support blows for gettting repairs. overall I hope my company never buys another one.

Apr 24th 2007 8:50PM Ive been working in IT for the last 5 years supporting Gateway, Dell, HP and IBM (not Lenovo). Since Lenovo has taken over from big blue they have been getting worse with each release. I advise not purchasing a lenovo they are far from the quality and support they had when they were IBM
