Would love this!
Here's my comment... And seeing the movie tonight!
Wait... $500 out of contract... and the PPC-6800 is $550 out of contract.

$300 with a 2 year contract, PPC-6800 $250 with 2 year contract (well, with $100 main in rebate)...

That doesn't make sense...
Here's my submission! Please help me replace my HTC Apache!
I just received the XCM Multi Component Cable yesterday from TotalConsole.com for $29.99 + $8 shipped. I haven't had a chance to hook it up yet, but the physical quality of the cable seems to be pretty good...

Looks like TotalConsole is selling the VGA box for $50, and it comes with the cable. Wish I woulda waited...

I just picked up the JSI JS5113 from Big Lots ($34.88! Thanks Quizzle) so I'll have to see how well this works. With the problems I've read about the remotes, I wonder if any universal remotes work with it...

If not, oh well, it's only $35.

I'll try to let eveyone know how well it works...
"you can get these around here for $50.."

I've already got a $50(Phillips) DVD player that plays DivX, but I'd really be interested in one that can play DivX off of a USB flash or external USB HDD... (And I'm assuming thats what the CDP-200UCR is able to do...) Does anything like the CDP-200UCR exist stateside?
I thought if you formatted in FAT32, you could access the partition?
I forgot to add, it is said that the Serial to USB adapter listed at http://www.360gamesaves.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=5 (bottom of page) will work fine with this part...
@ Exotic

Well, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I've at least done some reading... Its suggested that you need to back up an "image" of the WHOLE drive, so you need 20 gig free...

Xplorer360 is still in beta, so I'd say there is the possibility that there are some bugs, but without me actually trying yet, I can't say.

I just went this avenue because tearing apart the drive assembly just looked scary ^_^... http://www.360gamesaves.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=5

And hell, it's only $15.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
