yeah that's a brilliant interpretation. Either that, or all the revenue they are in line to collect from their Proprietary iHD interactivity coding for the menus, and the VC-1 Codec. if HD-DVD were to theoretically win, Microsoft would only be collecting a percentage of every movie sold for the life of the format. I would stick to your day job bro and leave the analyst work to others.
You know what format war I must put up with? Whether to download the x264 or the WMV-HD rip of the BR/HD disc from UseNET. I mean it's taxing and all, but I haven't threatened anyone yet.
When they do pull their heads out of their asses and there is one format remaining, I might consider actually purchasing a player. Until then I'll have to keep streaming to my chinese HD playing wonder box.

As a southpaw, I can attest that we "pwn" in deathmatches.... except for when Ubisoft neglects to support Southpaw controls and refuses to patch the capability nearing 1 year after release. GRAW on 360 *cough*
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
