Oct 17th 2009 1:26AM SE has a track record of releasing their phones within six months of announcing them. There are of course some high profile delays (cough, XPERIA1/P990i), but overall the wait isn't too long.
A phone like this would probably sell for around 600USD when first released. In a month or two after that, it would probably stay steady at around 450 for awhile.
Also, SE always sell their phones unlocked. Even carrier specific phones generally have an unlocked variant.
I'm a huge SE fan and buy their phones all the time, so I'm pretty sure about these points.
P.S., if the leaked video demo is acurate, I'm waaaaaay stoked for Rachael to get Eclaire into her system.

Sep 17th 2009 2:24PM Maybe the reason Verizon isn't paying their dividends for so long is because they DO want Voda to consider pulling out of the picture. If Verizon wants Voda out, make it unattractive for them to stay in. I'm sure a legal battle wouldn't be worth it for Voda, so they might just let VZdub get their way. It's a brilliant idea; get the start up cash from someone, then make them not want anything to do with what you've just created. Pay them back what they're owed, and then make money forever off of the foundation you both built!
Of course, this is all guessing. I have no more knowledge beyond this and a couple of other articles.
