Best thing to do with the D3x? Skip it and buy a D700 with 3 or four VERY nice lenses. The D700 is perfect for "everybody else". Go compare specs and for the differences, ask yourself if you have EVER used them more than once (if ever).

To be fair, the rumor mill is floating a D800 now which should make the decision even harder....

Blind-eye,

That comment wasn't much use at all. Why be leary? What concerns or bad experience do you have. I'd like to know more, since I'm considering one of these for a room we're designing.

iPhone / AT&T EDGE has been down since Friday (3/28) afternoon in south-central New Jersey. AT&T support says "yes, we know there's a problem. No, we have no estimates for fixing it". It's now 5:30pm on Sat and it's still down.

Timing truly sucks with Mom having to go to the hospital yesterday, and not able to get text updates on status....
Looking forward to what they do for revision 2.
Take a close look at that "bulk firing". A significant number of those rockets are turned sideways. Must be interesting to be nearby... :)

I'd be more than happy to take this off your hands, and provide you with photos as a bonus... :)

Currently none, but considering a Slingbox
A MacBook Pro with the new Core-Duo chips.
Need for Speed, or any racing games.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
