@alex98 Neither president has a very good track record. I voted for Obama myself--but I can't say I'm very happy about the fact that he has refused to release documents which would otherwise have become available via the FOIA, supported the Patriot Act, continued the practice of signing statements and escalated the war in Afghanistan.
I've been nice. If Santa is real, I'm definitely going to win. Santa IS real. Right guys?
Well, "Gem" is better than "Light Dildo" I guess.
Look at all the accessories Sony will soon be selling. Poor Microsoft with their object recognition and full-body tracking. That's not where the money is.
I liked this game--and I'm not an RTS fan at all. The RTS elements blend in with the game just fine. If you fail, you get to try again--so it's not as though there's a lot of pressure. There are more RPG elements than RTS elements--and that's something that appeals to me. Plus, the game world is creative and interesting--and driving around an open world in a hot rod while listening to heavy metal is a blast.
You've obviously never played the original. You have very little control. Essentially, you indicate one of four directions on the directional pad at just the right time, and then one of four ten-second cut sequences occur--three of which will end in your death.
I played WoW long enough to realize it was the same old grind you find in any MMO game.
@(Unverified) They don't have to turn away from Amazon. Believe it or not, Amazon is not the only place to buy products. Some of the things people buy at Amazon are also available at Best Buy, Radio Shack, Barnes and Noble, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Home Depot, K-Mart, Sears, Buy.com, Newegg, Abt, Dell, HP, Target, etc. Amazon is, however, the ONLY place to buy a Kindle. So, unlike every other product they sell, Kindle sales aren't spread all over the place.
Maybe I'll watch it after the leftovers run out.
@Cheesus Crust Was it me? If it was, then whoops. I don't recall anything about it. I do have a history, though. Feel free to flip through it. Let me know when you conclude your investigation.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
