@tnoy Dude who gives a shit. You can buy a $30k car and some people can build a $15k car that will do the same thing. Not everyone in the world is a king automobile expert though, Just like not everyone can build a whole fucking computer. It may be easy to you and that's great. But your DIY only works for a vastly smaller number of people than people will buy shit. When I was a kid, my parents made me fucking freeze pops, nowadays, we buy them. Understand?
@Evan
Just like they destroyed the mp3 and phone market huh?
Lol at everyone saying oh i can build the same thing cheaper.... You can buy a Mercedes, or you can buy a Honda Civic and spend money to make it all fancy and fast, but it's still not a Mercedes, its a Honda Civic.
On my Mac, I use a program called Senuti. Its quick and simple. I just recently did it for my cousin's iPod because he sold his HP for some quick cash and he needed a place to back up his music to. So I just hooked it up to mine and created a guest account (on Leopard not SL). The whole process took a couple of hours for about 2200 songs. The process shown above looks a little complicated.
Does no one watch Family Guy. They took a stab at Apple in last nights episode. Peter and Lois were talking an a Spinning Beach Ball of Death appeared and Peter said something about it then it went to commercial.

Oh and the comments on here... Do you people have no lives but to argue back and forth about Apple vs Everything Else ever made in the world. Its Apple versus Microsoft, Apple versus ATT, Apple versus Droid, and so on. The shit is annoying.
@trevor ah yes because they're can only be one trevor in the entire world. damn there is another derek down the street, maybe I should kill him and dispose of the body. Damn engadget how dare you let someone else have the name trevor. 6 billion people in the world. there is no way there could be two trevors.
@daytripper So because I asked for the sales number of Zune HD, automatically that makes me an Apple fanboy... You losers are so lame. Apple TV sucks, yes, but that doesn't make something else suck less. So Apple TV didn't sell that well, so that makes it acceptable for Zune HD to not sell well. Apple TV has always been a niche product. Where as the Zune HD was labeled as an iPod killer. So the iPod has sold 220 million. The Zune has sold about 3 million so for the Zune HD to be an iPod killer, it only has to sell 217 million. I was just wondering if its on that track.
Zune HD sales numbers? Or is it that bad they won't release that information.
Oh it is very ugly, I was just picking a fight lol. I will definitely be sticking with my Pioneer with the iPod cable run to the glove box. Sure it doesn't display how "cool" I am by owning an iPod/iPhone, but I'll make the best of it.
Yes, I love Ford. Once my current Explorer is payed off, I will buy a new one when the time comes and the Microsoft Sync is one of the main selling points for me. Plus I like car companies that stays in business because people use their money for what they want, unlike the other 2 that stays in business because the government uses our money to prolong their inevitable future of failure.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
