When we have cloud-synced contacts who use email/IM/Voip moreso than cell voice... These are concept phones, remember? They should be designed with at least a little foresight.
Can we all please stop lamenting Flash's absence from the iPhone? Flash is antiquated, proprietary and bloated. HTML 5 can do everything it does and better. Why would Apple yield to a 3rd party for something they don't need, and have to constantly update it at the mercy of Adobe to ensure it doesn't break? Flash isn't even worth having at the desktop without ADblock and FlashBlock, why would you put your phone through the extra wait when you need something fast?
OP did you travel back in time?

These phones are terrible and useless. Why would you design a future phone with a number pad at all? We already don't need them, in 3 years we won't remember what they are for.

Sad as it is, the only cell phone design that matters these days is a screen, as thin as you can make it.
Sorry Engadget, there is no such thing as a 'healthy dash' of hipsterism. Just like there is no such thing as a 'healthy dash' of AIDS.
640K is all the bandwidth anybody would ever need.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
