Actually, I'm getting the "Black Screen of Wait" after the said update. From boot, wake from hibernation and login after screensaver, I get a complete black screen which holds for 5-10 seconds. But it doesn't lock up..
Eh, you guys don't get it, IT'S A PROTOTYPE. Or in a language you understand, it's an EARLY ALPHA RELEASE. It's the first in the WORLD actually. So they need this plant to discover ways of improving the process and making it more efficient.
It's either TOO early and I'm grumpy (and don't get you sarcasm) or my friends, you are all idiots!
Bulky, bulky, BULKY......... If it was just a lot thinner, it WOULD be amazing.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaarg, you want to know the truth? The ONLY reason I want the Zune, is the way it displays album art. I really hate the small album art function the current iPods have.
Don't care for DRM, I'd rather buy the cd, rip it and do what I want with it...
(DRM will ONLY be a problem for "most people" when MS changes something that limits the way you can use "your music" AFTER you have bought it...
I did't want to install iTunes 7.0 because I feared bedbugs that would bite me....so I trolled a few forums and waited for reaction. (I was right......killer bedbugs, so I still use v.6)
2.
I wanted the new Nano, but with the problems with iTunes, I waited and found out people had problems (Here Apple LOST a customer, which is very baaad for them)...
3.
I saw the new iTunes update, but AGAIN I waited.....(AND I was right again, phu....)
Here Apple has made three mistakes, resulting in loosing a customer. I guess I'm NOT the only one. It's a shame for Apple, but they SHOULD now better.
BTW: I'm using www.mediamonkey.com now and after some initial gripes, I am starting to find it much better then iTunes......(But it does not look half as good on your screen, but what does that matter if it "just works"..... ;)
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
