Next Vista Media Center leaked -- no DirecTV HD till 2010? {Engadget}

Jul 6th 2008 9:09AM I just wish they would bring back something that was in XP MCE: recognizing media on burnt disc (my dvd9 with 8gb .mkv won't play on vista MCE but will play on XP MCE)

I just came back from hong kong, and was unfortunately stuck in a hospital for 3 days. the patient across from us was a little girl who has high fever. Fortunately her grandpa has a 3g phone with front facing camera so her father can see his little girl and she can get a small comfort from seeing her father when he was away.

Apr 24th 2008 3:01PM @tim,

not saying you don't really haul stuff, but 90% of the people I see on the freeway with big "heavy duty" pickup truck are hauling nothing but air. Many Suburbans / expeditions owners are driving by themselves stopped at the jammed freeway when I zipped by them in the carpool lane.

I would love to see gas price hit $7-8 dollars just to get those people off the freeway.

QNAP delivers BitTorrent-lovin' TS-109 Pro II and TS-209 Pro II NAS drives {Engadget}

Apr 24th 2008 2:40PM I wish I would have known that their TS-201's transfer speed is only half of what my computer can do, even over a gigabit connection. I would have built a cheap and quiet PC instead I spend ~$300 plus the drives.
