Pffft, cool your jets! SO far, only one ssssssss-joke has been made. Geez, you only give us a one-foul chance before you kill the whale?
@David: From French from France, the correct spelling of "la" is là as it is an dropping grave accent.

That is the correct usage such as in the book by Juste Olivier, Gustave Roux, G Staal, E Willmann

I can tell you that Wikipedia is wrong on that.
I know the twist the article has taken may not be pleasant for some, but I do support and appreciate the common effort to dispel the confusion or doubt around the usage of this word. Who said blogging cannot be actually edifying? I am on a quest to find a reliable source that would indicate that this word can actually be used in such a manner. I want to see a linguistic consensus around the issue. Hehe. Thank you Engadget for this Brain Teaser. So far, all my sources like Merriam Websters, Encarta, Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries, all point out to the sense of it being a noun - nothing else.
Thank you for your responses. I meant "I have googled" - missed a "d".
It is really stupid on my humble opinion. What in the world are manufacturers and service administrators so afraid to open the internet with all its services online. It may be they just want to push you to buy the new model each time to get the "update". Why is it so hard to put a functional flash in every phone and for video sites just to work fine? AT&T won't get away charging people to watch a stupid low resolution video - same goes for Verizon.

Like the consensus on this forum dictates: it is money. Anyways, Hulu ain't that great. YouTube is getting lots of HQ videos.
BBC iPlayer looks sweet.... sadly I get this message:

Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you.

Yes, I live in the US.

The point of the internet was to bring everyone together, but we just keep trying to keep everyone apart through red tape - ironically, tape is supposed to bring two objects together.
Pardon my French and ignorance but what is e-paper? I have google, but I don't get it.
I googled "gtgt" and nothing relevant to that site appears. What is the web address anyways? Are they trying to be competition for Engadget?

"Imagine if Facebook, Wikipedia, your favorite forum, and Google Reader all got mashed into one gigantic, delicious smoothie, and you might begin to get the idea of gdgt."

That "SMOOTHIE" sound high in calories, full of trans-fat, steroids and additives. I pass.

@redcard: I never trust the opinion OF one who doesn't know the use of a preposition. Oh là là, the beauty and irony of internet grammatical corrections.
I really doubt it. Consensus is a noun. It should be:

"... launching, by consensus, the hottest RIM device to date on July 12..."

I think.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
