How would I change it.... Time Capsule + Apple TV, that would be nice.
I'm claiming this one! It's my Wii and you other suckers can't have it.
I would add editing of calendar events and a text msg via wifi app. I would allow users to send out their photos to the touch directly from iphoto (that's actually changing iphoto). I would give users the ability to delete data from the device and not exclusively thru syncing. I would add a video camera that would allow users to upload directly to utube and I would increase partnership with lifestyle sites like facebook, myspace, etc....

That being said, I love the touch. That hard drive space is adequate. I have 2500 songs and six movies on my 16gb touch. I really only listen to 200 songs and the rest are songs I haven't had the heart to delete from my mbp. I think adding a larger drive would be cool... but I know that I would never get to the media on it if it got much bigger.

Think about this: 3 years ago there were a bunch of manufacturers making 7 inch portable dvd players that weighed 2 lbs and didn't fit in your pocket. They charged us anywhere from $119 - $179 and the battery life was horrific. Additionally, because these devices were exclusively hardware driven, there were no upgrades. Now we have a device that can store several movies, music and photos, search the web, weighs less than a 1/4lb w/cheese hamburger and has stunning audio/video playback quality with great battery life. Once Apple opens up third party apps... we'll see this device kill every Palm device (short of smartphones) ever made. It will send the PSP back to the gaming world exclusively and it will make coffee for you in the morning... stop whining and enjoy it.
enter me for this
It's plain ugly
1080i is a thing of the past.... most people buy numbers, however, the i stands for interlacing.... interlacing is wack! p stands for progressive. Progressive is the direction we are going in. You either are buying AppleTV becuz it makes sense for your lifestyle, our your buying a xbox becuz you're a gamer... I'm not a gamer and don't want an xbox, but my music and video collection is in iTunes and I like that. Also, this means not having to goto blockbuster, netflix, etc...
The G5 is a workhorse of a machine. It is priced at probably the most affordable market position for its value. Those of us who are pro users (FCP, AEFX, CS2, etc.) appreciate the price point because we know that a P.C. capable of cranking out the same work would be priced close to or more than a tricked out G5. Can you imagine buying a $1,100 P.C. and trying to get pro performance from Adobe Premiere? The box would grind to a halt. People who use pro apps don't buy a G5, they buy the apps. I don't see the G5 as a computer as much as I see it as an editing platform (that when it is totally tricked out, it's $20k less than a PC with Avid Adrenaline). And for those of you who wanted the ipod phone, I have a simple mod for you: iPod, Phone, Crazy Glue. I think it's wonderful that the G5 is ichat ready, comes with a DVD player and other features that entertain consumers, but if I'm watching DVDs and chatting, I'm not making money... If you want a Dell, buy a Dell. If you're a serious gamer, by the alienware box. If you want a edit box in a PC, go for it, just remember, it only runs windows.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
