I was getting really pissed at mine as well until I made one major change. Connected it to the network via Ethernet. Now I seem to love it. I know that's not an option for everyone but it definitely made it a better experience for me. That and Mac the Ripper. ;)
I have to be honest, I don't understand the market for tablets, other than perhaps special use situations like doctors offices, shipping companies, etc. Can somebody explain the draw? Why should I want one? Having a good laptop and an iPhone seems to suffice for me. I could imagine a netbook replacing a laptop for some users, like it has for my daughter who has to lug one around school all day. But a tablet? I can only see that being useful for people who have to standup and use a computer all day. What am I missing?
IMHO, with the addition of real-time search results and indexing, Twitter is the next Google. So if Apple is interested in being like Microsoft and is looking to buy it's way into real-time search, this would be one way.
I'd be happy if I could attach a picture from mail instead of having to go to Photos. Right now you can't attach a photo to an already composed note I.e. A not composed by clicking a mailto link.
Is Google Chrome a gadget?
Sold mine on eBay the day the 3g came out to some guy from Greece for $410.
I agree they should add MMS but it will take more than an hour. The MMS specification from 3gpp is actually quite involved.
I think she needs to learn to dance (or not dance) and take some queues from Leann Rimes. Her voice sounds a bit similar.
I got a shuffle in my stocking and my first brand new Mac ever. I've bought hand-me-downs from friends for my first few Macs. Now I'm the proud owner of a new Mini and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
