Yeah, games run 'full speed' on that crappy video card that came with your Mac... Sorry folks, but you still can't game on that GMA950 or Radeon X1600 iMac!

Not to mention VMware still has some overhead, so it's going to be slower then a comparible level PC.

"Mac gaming is an oxymoron" is still true.
Everyone knows that adding flame decals to your PC or car makes it faster, so it only makes sense that differenct colours will make the Wii better!
Wow man, where in Canada do you live? Where I am (downtown Toronto) you can get them for $20 at the discount shops easilly. If you want a refurb you can get them cheaper.
"I have no idea why Intel would do this... the margins on GPUs are much less than the margins on CPUs."

I'd like to see your numbers on this... Don't be shocked if it's the other way around. ATI (via AMD) and nVidia (currently designing) are both in the CPU market now, it makes a lot of sense for Intel to get on their turf.
"Doesn't Microsoft sell the most expensive desktop operating systems?"

Actually, no - not by a long shot. There are flavours of Unix that are far more expensive. Also, as far as we know, XP Home is more cheaper then OSX as Apple doesn't disclose the price.

The iPhone is far too exensive, I don't think it will fall flat on its face but it's too expensive for anyone but the fashion conscious. I'll wait for the reviews, the only thing we've had so far is visuals. There is so much more to a phone then good looks...
What do you call quad R600/8800 cards and Oblivion on this thing? Sweet!
I'm thinking it went something like this...

Cisco - we want $x million now, and $x per phone for use of the trademark.
Apple - OK, but we get exclusive rights to the name
Cisco - nope, we are still going to make our iPhone products
Apple - forget it (consults lawyers, 'releases' product)
Cisco - fine, see you in court
"Have Apple (Computer) and Apple Records come to an agreement then? This certainly doesn't help the former's position if the latter chooses to sue again. Steve Jobs should just buy out the record company and be done with it."

That's actually quite funny, since AR represents The Beatles and is owned by the band members or remaining family. It is not for sale at any price.
I wonder what the other Apple thinks about this - I smell another lawsuit brewing.
I would have really supported 'e' for all back in my rave days...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
