As said above. Also surely it is a good thing they're pointing out a competing piece of software with similar specifications can be had cheaper along with other software?
As mentioned before this just seems to dilute what borders do even more than they have already. On top of that testing it in Oxford Street seems an odd place to choose given the number of specialist games stores and huge HMV/Zaavis just down the road. Guess I'm going to have to stick with Foyles.
Go gadget go gadget inferno.
Indeed Lomo is very much fun. I use a Minolta 9000AF for all the "serious" photography but playing around with my fisheye or Smena is great for taking quirky pictures of mates on a night out. The light leeks, softness, and off colour tones are great. It depends what your into Photography for, capturing something in it's best way using lighting etc to bring out beauty, or if you want to create something thats not really there, colour trails, blown out contrasts etc. Ultimately most of the stuff is cheap and not designed for high art but capturing something a bit more personal.

As for the grain comment clever use of it can be really very very beautiful. It's another thing that seemingly has lessened with the rise of the digital camera which I find a shame but I suppose it just didn't float enough peoples boat.
The crappy jump hour one that I broke last month.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIzKSnS1bJQ Features some swearing and plenty of cynicism.
Whilst possible I don't think your quite right about progression of design. The Mac Pro and the MacBook Pro are metal whilst the MacBook and the iMac are plastic identifying them into each level of product.
I agree with Dathos. The V-Tech game is in bad taste but that is no reason to ban it. Reports repeatedly show that people won't be influenced, its just not a very sympathetic thing to make so soon.

As for GTA do what we in the uk do. Get it rated 18 by the film ratings authority and hence illegal for anyone under that age to buy. Making retailers and parents responsible.
Your all arguing over top of the line processors but ultimately this isn't what Dell will be using in most of their machines. Intel may well regain the performance crown at the top end but I think it is unlikely they'll match AMD at the lower to middle end for bang for buck and thats the market Dell is in.
Come join us with our cricket. 5 days solid entertainment, everyone wear the same kits, fitness has barely reached the game let alone drugs and all the umpires make bizare hand movements. Best sport ever. (No really I love it.)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
