The ONLY reason to go to Starbucks is for social interaction. Otherwise, just make your own damned coffee at home. Just buy a cheap $20 french press and go to town.
Backwards compatibility should no longer an issue. Microsoft can and should scrap slavish observance to the BC G*d, and require that any incompatible programs be run inside a Virtual Machine.
This is just another convenient excuse to keep the public terrified and feeling helpless. Just try and walk on the plane with NO fucking carrying on luggage or checked bags and see what happens. Are cigarettes really delicious? I've always assumed they were disgusting but people just someone developed a taste for them after extensive exposure. If they're really that tasty, maybe it's time I took up smoking.

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
