Lenovo IdeaPad U110 unboxing and hands-on {Engadget}

May 3rd 2008 1:20PM I can't agree more with you about the Fn key in place of the Ctrl key. It drives me nuts too. But there's an easy fix: you can just software (I use KeyTweak) to reconfigure the Fn key to act as the Ctrl key and vice versa. Sure, the keys will be labelled wrong, but if you're as much of a keyboard user as you are, I doubt that'll throw you off.

Wal-Mart leaks Zune price? {Download Squad}

Sep 19th 2006 7:14PM To answer your quesstion simply, YES! I will admit that I could be biased as I'm somewhat of a Microsoft fanboy (if such things exist). However, I will heartily recommend the Zune because of two core features: one you already mentioned, the 30 GB hard drive, and second, Microsoft's strength, software. By software, I mean the potential for Zune in terms of upgraded firmware. I say this because from the multiple interviews/reviews I've read so far, Microsoft seems intent on expanding the capabilities of the Zune via regular firmware updates, which is definitely possible.

Google vs. Yahoo mashups {Download Squad}

Sep 7th 2006 9:22PM Completely disagree. While I have no qualms about conceding victory to Google when it comes to search, but Yahoo Maps is waaay better than Google maps.

Firefox 2: Making your old extensions work {Download Squad}

Sep 2nd 2006 5:59PM Thanks a lot for this demo. This is pretty much the only reason I actually decided to download and use Firefox 2 Beta as my main browser. However, pretty much none of the tab bar related extensions work - they either mess up the look of the beautiful new tab bar, or just plain don't work.
