I just think that it is better to go for the GBA + flash card that can emulate NES or get the DS and you can play nes, snes and many more emulated consoles not to mention the huge GBA and DS original game library and yes - support for MP3 and Video viewing.
$229 dollar price would be just sweet. At that price I would get 2 consoles so I could have one at my parents house and we could use it for long distance voip calls AND gaming when I come over.
sounds hard to believe that it will work without any patching of the roms. Would be the first card that doesn't even need on the fly patching to accommodate all the different save game types. Also main memory can not be upgraded so stuck with 512mb.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
