I think is a good idea
@ Screamager @ Roman @ other users that are just going to post without reading... please read the comments before posting and it wouldn't hurt to educate yourselves a little before posting about a subject.
@Alex This is Engadget. @Lee it already has 3G and BTW GPS, Video Out, 5 Megapixel Camera, 640x480 30fps video recording. Just to name a few features. Ask that for the Iphone buddy.
I think it has a good design with really good specs, I really don't think this is supposed to replace a laptop, this is just a desktop replacement that is esay to take with you.
I really see no point in someone trying to correct someone else's spelling, this is not a spelling class. This is a really good forum about technology and not spelling.
It would be nice to win. I have never won anything :(
Since this is a "want", then I want a Vertu Ascent Phone and a 2.5Ghz Quad-core PowerPC G5 with 16GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, Quadro FX 4500 graphics card with 512MB of memory, 16X dual-layer Superdrive, and two 30" Apple Cinema HD displays. I think that about covers it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
