So they stuck an ionic breeze to a chip?
Seems my HDR-FX1 has been bested.
This is a joke right? You're pulling my string...err leg. This is the best idea they could come up with?
China has laws against this kind of stuff, which they enacted just to appease the US, but they don't enforce them.
kaybee,

The devices don't do the same thing. The device Chaz suggested does drive to drive imaging like Ghost, without the need for a PC. This thing just allows you to connect 1 or 2 drives to a PC via usb and backup some files from the PC to the USB drive. Not the same thing. I want the device Chaz suggested but it is too expensive for my budget...
I want a device you can connect an EIDE or SATA drive to, then connect a new drive of equal or larger size, that will clone the first disk to the new disk. And do this very quickly and without need of a PC or OS. I thought this would do that but it looks more like just a USB-IDE adapter that supports SATA and has a one touch backup button.
Basically they are saying that this makes your gaming faster because the CPU has to do less work involving network traffic because it offloads the work to the controller. Much like recent video cards now have GPUs which offload all the video work onto the video card. It is not saying that your network will be faster, just that network games will be more responsive.
I was in Vegas about a month ago it was friggin 117º outside. I'm from Miami so I can take the heat, but going outside was like opening a preheated oven, dang. I'm just glad it wasn't humid as well.
Ever notice that you don't think you drive like an idiot when you're talking on the phone and driving? I'm sure those idiots who actually drive in 3 lanes at the same time think that their driving is as perfect as we think ours is. I don't think you will ever convince people to stop driving and talking unless it is illegal. The same way you can't force senior citizens to stop driving even though the evasive maneuvers you make to avoid their 20-mph pace is likely to cause an accident. I spend over 6 hours a day driving so I know that I don't drive like an idiot. I may speed a bit and aim for apexes on every turn, but I've never had an accident.
Tatunka!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
