Huh. I should check engadget more often, if possible :). I restarted the HR-21 twice around noon...almost to the point of unplugging. Now it seems to be fine.

Now that I've checked in, I know what happened to it.
100%....I'll keep 100% of what I don't give as gifts.
Someone apparently does make a 32" plasma, or Vizio really thinks so anyway...

I'll have one please.
The right click can be accomplished with the two-finger tap.....I almost never use the mouse button, reserving it for click-drag maneuvers. However, for those used to using the buttons instead, this would be a tough transition.
"why would I want to pay a dollar a track when I can get all I want for $15 bucks a month."

Because, when you stop paying, you have nothing. You're paying $180 / year for use of music, as long as you pay. That does make sense for some; e.g., if you're starting from scratch. You go from nothing to a huge music library in no time for $15. Of course, you have to keep paying. Up front low cost, high cost long term. But, remember, you're paying for a pretty good computer every 3-4 years in subscription fees.

As for me, I've got all my old CDs ripped, accumulated over an embarassing number of years (heck, I'm old enough to have purchased the latest songs on 8 track tapes in my younger days). I now buy about a song a month, averaged out. How many times do I have to buy Led Zepellin? Oh wait, bad example, Jimmy's remastering again....

For people with a library of their favorite music, it makes absolutely no sense to go subscription. I'd rather spend the money on more geek gear. And, if I decide never to pay another cent to a member of the RIAA, I still have my entire library.

cue someone to pitch in with another limewire story....
Yes please.
Yes please.
I'd take two, if ya had 'em.
I'd take two, if ya had 'em.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
