The answer is simple. The 4.5 million you reported the other day was from Sony's fiscal report, and so is 'old' information reported in their accounts.

The 6 million is current units and will appear in a future fiscal report.

It's that easy...
@5 - Well, Andrew didn't find it, so you don't need to thank him.

It also seems somehow that this has been pushed through at N4G as a duplicate story.

If you want to thank anyone, drop by PS3Attitude.com where the story broke - and check out the author of the YouTube video for clarification of where it came from...

[Sour Grapes Mode: OFF]
@5

My original story in PS3 Attitude says the demo is coming to Europe. I don't have any up-to-date info on other regions yet - sorry!
Bluetooth headsets generally suck during gameplay.

I've switched to a good quality Logitech USB headset and it's miles better, so I will be going for the download version of Warhawk and foregoing the store version...
Me, me, me, me, me - give it to me!!!

Oh heck - you can't!! I'm in the UK!!!

Blast and dammit.
If you do happen to download Time Attack BEFORE updating the game, here's how to fix the issue:

1. Go into the Game Data utility menu
2. Delete Motorstorm 1.1
3. Start the game and go Online
4. Download the update (1.2)
5. Quit the game and THEN download Time Attack from the store

I can tell you the Remote Play over the Internet feature not only works perfectly but has come at a perfect time for me. I'm about to embark on a business trip that will last two weeks and instead of filling my 4Gb stick with stuff, I'll be playing movies from my 60Gb PS3 HD.

And @trystero - I understand what you're saying but I think you're off the mark. And BTW - what's a 'Clio'?? If you meant the Clie that was canned by Sony years ago, so they don't care about it any more...
The most important parts of the update for me (being an SD user at present) were the media streaming (which I'll set up later today) and the remote play via internet.

Notice how it says that the PSP (which needs to be running 3.50; arrives by end of May apparently) has to be signed into the PSN with the same username.

That surely means that the PSP is going to receive full PSN access, doesn't it? Access your friends, chat etc. on the move? Surely!!??
It's about time!

Only two things have ever held GT back as far as I'm concerned:

1. A proper cockpit view where I can see my 'hands' moving (just like in Colin McRae's Rally series)

2. Damage to the cars (just like in the Burnout series)

I know the developers at Polyphonic were saying they'd have to do damage 'properly' to do it justice and so that's why they haven't, but frankly I think that is a bit of a poor excuse when you see just how well other racing series have managed damage...
It all just looks insanely good! Can't wait until I:

a. Get in on the next round of beta testers
b. Get in to the final product in the Autumn

Bring it home people, bring it home.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
