I'm also the proud owner of the 2GB. Other than the MTP/UMD thing it's great. The size is fine, I think if it were smaller it would start getting difficult to use (read: s10) Too bad there's no brand recognition. Everyone who sees it thinks it cool, but they've basically never heard of iriver. I almost wish that it had microsoft's name attached to it instead of the zune >.
Hmm, I was going to bus to ny from boston saturday ($15), maybe I'll go a day early... too bad I missed registration though, oh well
I've got an extra one sitting around...anyone else?
Well other than using a laser pointer, I've used one of those miniature rc cars (the ones that are about an inch in size) and our cat goes crazy ^.^
Just out of curiosity, do some/most/any lefthanders just use their right hand for the mouse? I figure it's just what you get used to (or train it to do).

ie. I'm right handed but my left hand is more dexterious for some specific tasks. An obvious example for me would be my left hand control when playing the violin.
20. Philips Personal Sound System

I just read through all the comments vying for the sound system and I skimmed the rest of the comments (about ~2100 at the time of this post x.x). Now my eyes hurt so much. I hope it's not just one of you reading all the comments.

Either way, take a break with this corny popsicle stick joke!
Q: What kind of phone does a turtle have?
A: A Shell-ular phone!

Ok, I would use this with my laptop which I carry everywhere with me. Unfortunately the audio capabilities are quite limited by its /single/ half inch speaker built into the /bottom/ of the laptop. XD

Regardless, at least give this item away to someone who's not planning on using it for an alarm. Judging by the "The little Boombox that can't" article and reader comments it'll just be giving them a false hope.

Ok, I'll end with another joke
Q: What did the bug say when it was stepped on?
A: Nothing, bugs can't talk!
Actually, by the specs it looks like the q40 is basically a pink q30 (which btw is a good ~1 1/2 years old now anyways). As a side note, the q30 came in blue or red (which I would like better anyway)

The rebranded dell latitude x1 feels like a steal at ~1200 USD when I bought mine back in Feb. (Unfortunately they've stopped selling it through small business and the large business price is now $$$)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
