Why would you want a professional oriented USB key that you're not allowed to take on a plane?
Same here, space is limited and I already have too much stuff connected to the TV and AV receiver so any additional functions that the Xbox adds that replaces one of the other boxes would be welcomed.

I was hopping for direct access to network drives. Going trough the PC makes it extremely due to WiFi.
Why does it need to be approved by the FCC?
Is it not just a regular PS3 with a different colour?
The Euro price is not that bad.$776 is $647 if you take out 20%VAT (+/- depending on contry). So you pay $47 but you get a 2year warranty vs. a 1year warranty (or less) in the US. Europeans are basically being forced to pay for a 2year warranty.

The UK (and NZ) is different. There you have the usual rip off since the UK doesn't have the mandatory 2year warranty for Consumer Electronics that is law in most European Union countries.
If they make it in red it will look a bit devilish with those antennas
I tried to use one of this in Singapore in 2002 and it wasn't a happy experience. I sent 3 messages and got no Coke.
I travelled this Sunday out of Heathrow (not to the US) and you could pretty much buy everything in the duty free shop and take it to the plane (including magazines and books).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
