Zune Halo 3 Edition up for pre-order {Engadget}

May 16th 2007 7:59AM If this thing wasn't coming out through gamestop, I would be tempted to buy it. But it's my policy never to give a single cent to that worthless good-for-nothing crap shack. Babbages, Funcoland, and the original EBgames. WE WILL NOT FORGET HOW GAMESTOP KILLED YOUR SOULS!

PS3 launch hammers Sony's bottom line {Engadget}

May 16th 2007 7:54AM The Xbox 360 beats the PS3 hands down, and anyone with half a brain can see that. But honestly, Sony saw this coming, this is less about video games and more about making the much more lucrative Blu-Ray disc the next-gen media winner in the long run. They'll eat whatever costs they can to make Blu-Ray a success.

And seriously, 600 dollars? I could make my PC capable of playing Crysis (when it comes out) at Maximum with 600 dollars. And they want that for their DX9 console? What a joke. Screw Sony

Xbox Live: Hollywood's new "Let's do lunch"? {Joystiq}

May 16th 2007 12:11AM If you've heard one pre-pubescent little bastard call you the N word and then threaten to find you irl and "RAEPZOR JOO!", you've heard them all.

Too bad making it illegal to buy kids M-Rated games would essentially kill the M rated game market (The games I love the most). Otherwise, I'd be lobbying for it right now.

V-Tech game creator willing to abort game for a price {Joystiq}

May 16th 2007 12:06AM Free speech is free speech, but unfortunately Jack Thompson and his ilk will probably find a way to spin this against us all. Thank you Joystiq, for alerting him to this game's presence.

Mad Catz producing Halo 3 merchandise {Joystiq}

May 16th 2007 12:04AM Even Mad Catz can't screw up a faceplate...right? RIGHT?! I hope not anyway...I'd be sad. Atleast they aren't making the action figures for Halo 3.

Japan looking to establish wireless island {Engadget}

May 15th 2007 11:41PM The Japanese are getting older and older, and their birth rates are declining. They (smartly) are thinking of their elderly, and I salute them.

Try this in the US and I'd be pissed though.

A quick look at African game development {Joystiq}

May 15th 2007 11:21PM They should make an MMORPG set in Nigeria. Instead of Gold Farming or leveling, you call people in another MMORPG (set in America) and tell them that they've won the lottery, or that you'd like to sell them dirty money at half the cost.

Keys to Xbox 360 world domination {Joystiq Xbox}

May 15th 2007 12:24PM Sometimes I read the comments and there are decent ones, but other times people just like to bitch without any knowledge of the subject. Case in point; Guy that said "Xbox Live should have a free basic membership!" well...guess what...it does have a free basic membership

Keys to Xbox 360 world domination {Joystiq Xbox}

May 15th 2007 12:03PM They could make Xbox Live free, but to offset the cost, they'd have to have ads everywhere. Personally I'm happy enough paying 50 a year to make sure that my online experience is pleasant. I'd pay 100 dollars a year to make sure that the 360's online experience doesn't turn into the wii or the PS3's (both terrible).

I think Microsoft needs to show us what games will be coming after Halo 3 and GTA IV if they want to stay on top. Halo 3 and GTA IV are great and all, but it seems like there is going to be a massive drought going into spring of 08, and, possibly, summer of 08. Waiting till fall of 08 to get something other than Halo 3 or GTA IV to play might be a problem.

'Next-gen' Wolfenstein resurfaces with 2008 release {Joystiq}

May 14th 2007 11:34PM Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory for the win. Don't care about some game that will probably never come out, from a dev that made...marvel ultimate alliance (Ugh).
