Where are the home, back, and menu buttons? Aren't those required by Android?
You don't have to use the stylus, but it's really good for Excel, notes, and handwriting recognition.
I think HTC already did this better with the HTC Shift dual-mode Windows Mobile & Windows Vista Netbook/Tablet PC. The Windows Mobile part is capable of syncing with the Windows Vista part, and still offers all the advantages of Windows Mobile when not booted to Vista. Android doesn't sync with anything besides Gmail... certainly not a Windows XP installation.
The BlueAnt S1 paired with my HTC Touch Diamond announces incoming caller names via MS Voice Command... as well as text messages, appointments, emails, etc. The voice recognition (via MS Voice Command) works really well too!
Also, the A2DP is not for streaming tunes (it only has a mono speaker)... it's best used for streaming GPS navigation voice prompts from your phone with TomTom, Garmin, CoPIlot, whatever, installed.

Anyway, it's a really great in-car speakerphone.
Why? Android isn't remotely as capable as HTC's customized Windows Mobile versions. That would be like putting Windows 95 on an HP TouchSmart PC... you'd lose all of the best features.
Does it have predictive text? Anything other than Qwerty? I hate Qwerty touchscreen keyboards. I'm all about FITALY and Cootek's TouchPal.
Maybe you're carrying a Tablet PC during a walking tour/meeting and it would be impossible to use a two-handed keyboard since you need one hand to carry the computer. Also, with the touch screen you don't need a keyboard or mouse at all. Your computer can be mounted in the wall.
Also, you're not supposed to use that input panel with touch. What you do is tap on a text field with your finger, then a BIG keyboard icon appears. Tap that with your finger and the touch-screen keyboard appears. The tabbed TIP on the left shouldn't be there for touch interaction (it can be turned off), and is totally unnecessary.

If you really want that TIP to slide out by using the touch screen, you can right click the taskbar and show the TIP Toolbar. That will give you an input panel button on the taskbar that will show the keyboard whenever you want it. Very very nicely done.
Tablet PCs, Ultra Mobile PCs, TouchSmart PCs... there's lots of them! With a smaller screen, the buttons are bigger and much more touch-friendly.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
