A Wii Thanksgiving test on the family: Part 2 {Joystiq}
Nov 26th 2006 10:49AM Thank god - finally some sensible comments on Joystiq! I'm looking forward to reading some more stories - this is quite interesting, and thankfully hasn't escalated into the usual "fanboy" rubbish.
There is hope after all :)

Nov 21st 2006 4:55AM The pad looks sweet. Good point about the wavebird, but I heard the Classic controller comes with 5000 Wii points - that's worth getting it for alone!
TGS best-in-show award: Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo all win {Joystiq}
Sep 25th 2006 9:35AM Everyone shut up - the winner is ME!!!
I get to know that two of my most anicipated games are nearing release, and it looks like they're gonna be AWESOME!!
I'm talking about Monster Hunter Portable 2nd, and Metal gear for reals on the PSP! I'm so happy :D Also, dawn of mana might be worth getting, I'll look into that.
But sony/microsoft/nintendo - whatever! It's the games I care about.
Tsk tsk, IGN. Time to update that "internet use" policy! [update 1] {Joystiq}
Sep 15th 2006 4:56AM I've been to IGN a couple of times to look for game reviews, but they were wrong about monster hunter, and those adverts are really intrusive.
I'd rather buy magazines like retrogamer or Games TM for reviews and Joystiq for news.
We love you joystiq, don't change.

PSP GPS shots a go go {Engadget}
Aug 30th 2006 10:21AM Yeah Jason, it depends.
I love my PSP (although I do know at least 10 people that have one, so I get the benefit of multiplayer). I have socom, monsterhunter, GTA, and SF alpha 3. I still play NES and SNES games, and it makes an awesome PMP device (films and tv shows etc). You can even use Tversity on the latest firmware to stream content from your PS over broadband > WiFi > PSP.
For me it's my favorite gadget, even over my SPV M600, and while it's not everones cup of tea, it's clearly very powerful and versatile.
I was thinking about getting a DS, but now I'm gonna at least wait until I've completed MonsterHunter and Socom. I'm not a "fanboy", but I'm certainly a big fan.
