At $188, no doubt it is on the wish list as an iPod stocking stuffer for Goldman Sachs.... and Pelosi........
I downloaded and used it yesterday to scan and email a letter..... without reading any instructions it was easy to use and worked perfect.
Now there's a taste I never want to acquire.
You make an exception for one guy to use the term "iPod" in a product then you establish a precedent that you can't afford to do in the litigious USA.
So I'm not the only one that has no idea what this thing does. So I went to the PogoPlug site and found that it is "a device that let's you access and share the contents of your external hard drives through the internet."

Oh, so something I don't want.
Each day I am so glad I don't live in California.
Apps are the only reason I have an iPhone.....without them I'd go back to a Blackberry. Fortunately I have no problems with AT&T coverage where I live.
I'm just going to buy the China knock-off on eBay, the Licka Herma M700
They have books on the interweb now?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
