Actually +1 for you mister!
Even if what you said is not true, then you are damn good at making stuff up(atleast I believed it :) )
missing apple logo is what made it less ugly
This is so ugly. I didn't want to comment it, but I did.
I'd rather say Cold, but I still want it
All your future are belong to US!
What is the point of using own os, with basicly no 3rd party apps instead of WinMo/Android/Symbian platform, which have thousands of applications you can use? Great concept on the hardware, but not so good outcome on the software side of the road.

Samsung has to get it's mind correct, but hey, it's not a smartphone. Somehow I think they're aiming at those teenagers with their cool looking phones, but not so great features what-so-ever. This is more like what LG is doing right now.

Anyways, there is still a quite big market for this phone, so I guess it will be quite successful.
Agreed. And those "2 okay devices" are too overpriced :(

Where is competition?
@darkmax
I'm very tired of those "Apple fanbois this, fanbois that" crap. Okay, if you actually read what that iPhone 3GS CPU is actually compared to, you wouldn't say so. It is compared to a 1GHz CPU by it's performance. Yes, iPhone has it's flaws and good sides, but which phone doesn't? It's not about which phone has more MHz, it's about how the system can run at specs given. Well, looks like 600 is enough for OS X and 800 is about enough for WinMo. I'm an Apple hater and I use WinMo based phone every day and yes, I like WinMo more just because of multitasking and advanced-userfriendliness(admit it, you can do more with WinMo/Android/soon also WebOS based phone, than with iPhone)

Also, I am looking forward to this phone, I've had several Samsun WinMo phones in the past(i200, i600 and so on) and I'm just impressed with the built quality of those lil bastards :)
I just put that on the Christmas Gift list. Looks like I will buy my girlfriend one of these...
Looks like Pre has it's good spot in the "homebrew division"
I wonder, what's next? GBA emulator? Would love this one... :P

good to read such news :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
